Initial Costs
- Financial Requirements/Down Payment
An initial down payment (MAOZ© franchise fee) is required when you subscribe to our training and franchising program. This fee varies according to the country in which the franchise is opened.
- Equipment and Pre-Opening Costs
These costs vary according to the country in which the franchise is opened.
The size of the restaurant facility, location of the restaurant, regulative requirements, pre-opening expenses, inventory, selection of kitchen equipment, signage, as well as the style of decor and landscaping, will all affect new restaurant costs.

Site Criteria
This is a recommended site criteria for a MAOZ© restaurant as learned from our experience.
The ideal criteria will vary according to a specific location.
Trade Area
Shopping center or mall, lunchtime office trade, office building in CBD’s, University campus areas, Airport/stadium/convention center, ‘hot’, ‘hip’ or ‘funky’ neighborhoods, ‘Urban’ suburban locations, entertainment districts.
Traffic
Heavy traffic from captive audience, easy access to and from building, heavy pedestrian traffic, Heavy car/commuter traffic, residential traffic, high visibility.
Identity
High identity store fronts, visible interior store signage and way-finding signage, excellent exterior signage and architectural design component, corner or end-caps preferred.
Size
Ideal size is 1000 square feet, will consider size range of 400 to 1300 square feet.
Building
Building offering some unique or progressive architectural character is a plus.

Suitable for restaurant with kitchen, must be able to install commercial range hood at a reasonable cost/allow deep-frying, 1 ton of cooling for every 150 square feet.

Ongoing Fees
- During the term of the franchise, you will pay a Service Fee: a monthly fee, paid to MAOZ©, based on the restaurant’s gross sales.
- Advertising fee: a monthly fee must be allocated by the franchisee to enable local marketing, based on the restaurant’s gross sales currently the advertising fee is 1.0%.
Before you open
- As soon as you join the MAOZ© family, we begin working with you to help you get started.
- Equipment ordering: We help you order your equipment package to ensure timely delivery.
After you open
- Operational Manual: The MAOZ© team will provide you with a MAOZ© manual which covers the full range of topics important for running your business.
- Field Support: You will be assigned a representative who will help you get started and will accompany you when you open your restaurant.
- Franchise Service: You will be assigned a MAOZ© coordinator who will serve as your main contact person, who will be just a phone call or e-mail away.
- As you become a member of the MAOZ© family you are continuously supported. As part of our franchise community you will be updated and supported on an ongoing basis.
